Grayson-Livingstone Family Tree

Notes

Marguerite Madeline RICE

From Richard Eugene Lund:
NYC Birth record for Marguerite was certificate #23630, showing father Charles Rice.  Not sure if there was a marriage, but Ann never took the name Rice.
Marguerite was given up for adoption to the NY Foundling Hospital and Asylum in 1897 and later was sent on an orphan train to North Dakota where she was adopted.

Lund Family tree  says her birth date was 3-Jan-1897

According to Lund tree, she was adopted by the Gauche family in Alta, Barnes County, SD, in 1914, although 1910 census shows her relationship to the head of household as "adopted dau".  She married Clarence Melvin Lund and had six children.
She died on February 12, 1966, in Stearns County, Minnesota, at the age of 69.

Christoffer LIND

He was a smith, and Wåge Olofsson took us to the smithy in Kvill to photograph it.

His household in Kvill (Qvill) is listed as a smith at https://app.arkivdigital.se/volume/v20654?image=18 .  There we got his birth date, for example.  It says they moved from Vetlanda to Kråkshult in 1827, just before Carl August was born, and then they moved to Vetlanda in 1831 (?).

Elisabeth Catherine DANIELSDOTTER

See the census for Carl August.  It's actually unclear whether she is his mother.

Her birth record is in http://app.arkivdigital.se/volume/v36107?image=49 , and it seems to say that she was actually born in Lillarp, 2km west of Skirö.
Presumably the birth was recorded in Skirö because Lillarp has no church.
