Ann Buick

Marriage record to James Crawford, FHL Film number 993506.

In 1871 census, was listed as visiting household of John Young and wife Jane nee Crawford. Seems very likely she was Jane's mother since Jane named a child Andrew Buick Young after her.

And here's a baptism record for Jane Crawford:
Baptism Date: 31 Jul 1829
Baptism Place: Saint Vigeans,Angus,Scotland
Father: James Crawford
Mother: Ann Buick
FHL Film Number: 993506

Found Ann Buick married to James Crawford in the Buick family tree:
http://trees.ancestry.com/tree/40149790/person/19455518356
which lead to her parentage.

Margaret Fettes Crawford

Wonder if middle name is really Ferrier after her mother.

Baptism: 30 Jul 1833 at St. Vigeans, Scotland

Charles Roland Upham

Source: exact dates from SSDI. Nellie's records have just birthyear.
Perhaps it is this uncle that Ed remembers moving to CA.
Called Roland by his family and in the 1920 census.
Family photo leads me to believe his wife is named Doris,
and he had at least one son.

From John Phillips, his grandson: Charles Roland's marriage to
Doris resulted in one child, the boy Donald in the picture.
However, the marriage did not last and after Pearl Harbor was
bombed, Charles Roland went to Hawaii as a civilian to help
rebuild it. While there, he met a man who later became his
brother-in-law.  The two friends returned to California and
married two sisters. Charles and his new wife,  Alice Carter,
moved to Gardena, California after the war and then retired to
Paradise, California.
