Donald H. Kinne Donald H. Kinne, the son of Henry O. E. Kinne and Lydia (Hinz) Kinne, was born November 29, 1920, at Fairmont, Minnesota. As a child, he moved with his family to the Burnside-Lehigh area and graduated from Burnside High Scholl. The family then moved to Deer Creek Townsihp, in Webster County, where Donald farmed with his parents. He was united in marriage to Helen Niemeyer on February 15, 1942, and the couple made their home in Webster County. In 1950 they moved to Bode and farmed in the Bode and Gilmore City areas. Donald retired from farming in 1986 and they moved to Humboldt. Mr. Kinne was a member of the St. Olaf Lutheran Church. He enjoyed readin, playing the mouth harp, the outdoors, and coffee with friends. He is survived by his wife, Helen of Humboldt; daughters and sons-in-law, Alona and Jim Berte of Bode, Marlys and Ron Trauger of Livermore and Jacque and Ron Anderson of St. Louis, Missouri; grandchildren, Michelle Thilges, Daniel berte, leann Gilkerson, Melanie Hickey, Rick Crotts, David Anderson, Julie Mattingly, and Joshua Anderson; 7 great-grandchildren; step-grandchil- dren, Rochelle Trauger, James Trauger and Joe Trauger; 2 step-great-grandchildren; sister, Carol Trample of Rockwell; and brothers, Luther Kinne of Casper, Wyoming, and Carol Kinne of Spokane, Washington. Following the interment services, the Kinne family will greet friends and relatives for lunch in the Fellowship Hall of the church.
